That’s absolutely correct - but you must be ACTIVE and a member for 15 days before you may click on the Upgrade button on the Home Site.
What sort of material can I have on my Web Page ?
Anything you wish so long as it doesn’t contain - Pornography - Slanderous or Libelous Comments or attacks on other parties - Spam of any kind - Tasteless content which may attract the attention of Law Enforcement Authorities - Get Rich Quick Schemes [not tolerated at all] If you have any doubts please contact ECC
Why do I have to pay for my Domain name and Hosting when I upgrade to Level 3 ?
You only have to pay for your Domain Name and Hosting if you wish to upgrade to a TLD - Top Level Domain yourname.com say. If you just want to stay at Level 2 you may purchase additional web pages at Level 3 which include 3mb space and 25mb transfers per page. - By now you understand all aspects of Email - Know how to use a FTP Client to upload to the Server and now you find that you will need more pages, Web Space and Bandwidth. All this costs - but you have saved a lot by learning through ECC and can still save through the discounts offered by our Partners Kwik ‘n’ Ezi to ECC members.
At Level 2 how do I put my Web Page on the Internet and manage my email ?
You will be given a link to download a FTP [File Transfer Protocol] Client to upload your site to our Server.For TLD's at Level 3 you get your own Cpanel Control Panel.We set up your email account for you in Level 2.
What features are there with Cpanel ?
Email Management - FTP - Mail Forwarders - AutoResponders - Spam Filter - WebMail to name a few. The rest of the modules are there for you when you expand your site - CGI Bin - Sub Domains - MySQL Databases - Forum Chatroom - Shopping Carts - too many to name here.
Why don't I get Cpanel at Level 2 ?
To run the other features you are going to need more pages, Web Space and Bandwidth than comes with the very basic Level 2 upgrade. If you use too many features it won’t be long before you exceed your available resources and will have to upgrade or cut down.
Where do I send my payment - How can I do it and who do I make it out to?
As soon as you click on the Upgrade to Level 3 Button on the Home Page you will be sent an email with all that information detailed. We commence DNS processes immediately which can take 3 days giving time for your payment to arrive.
